Welcome to Applied Mediation

“As you know I was slightly sceptical about the whole process, but just through discussion you achieved what I imagined was unachievable. I came away refreshed, invigorated and genuinely committed to improving our working realtionship. Thank you.”

Advice and Engagement

Unlimited telephone calls and emails over a 5 day period to enable Applied Mediation to work with the Local Authority and parents, or carers, to discuss the key issues within a case and test for flexibility and common ground. In our experience 40% of potential mediations can be avoided through this level of intervention.

SEN Mediation: online

If there is some common ground and flexibility within the case, but matters remain unresolved then, if all parties agree, a more formal stage of mediation on line will be initiated. Applied Mediation will use their customised Stepping Stones process to establish the individual priorities within the given situation and to seek the steps towards resolution. This is a set fee service spanning up to 20 working days.

SEN Mediation: face-to-face

This four hour meeting will be offered if needed after Stage 1 and 2, or immediately if required. Applied Mediation will provide a trained mediator with SEN experience and all the paperwork that is required. The cost of this service is reduced if the Local Authority has already paid for Stages 1 or 2.
