tailor made process designed to assist people prior to mediation
to articulate and identify their concerns, and possible resolutions.
It is not necessarily a prelude to a full mediation session.
Some disputes can be settled by the mediator meeting separately
with the parties and sharing information and concessions,
when requested to do so.
Alternatively
Time to Talk can be used as a process of de-briefing
and reflection following an event in which the individual’s
relationship with the organisation, colleagues or management
has been tested and damaged. For example, the aftermath
of an inquiry or investigation.
Time
to talk can include one-to-one counselling sessions with
a trained counsellor, if required.
